The Technical Lead, Analytics is an expert level role that will oversee Navitus’ technical operations within the Analytics & Data. The Technical Lead will have strategic oversight of BI and data tools throughout the department. This role will additionally supervise changes and upgrades to existing systems and mentor team members to create efficient reporting applications.

How do I make an impact on my team?
- Prepare architectural and design decision for various tools and systems such as Qlik Data Mart, Oracle Warehouse, API Connections, BI Templates, AWS Connections and Talend
- Identify inter-departmental dependencies and downstream impacts of changes within reporting applications.
- Provide oversight and guidance related to the various technical operations systems.
- Collaborate with and mentor teammates to design and deliver effective solutions.
- Coordinating with the software development team in addressing technical debt
- Review ongoing technical operations, determine issues and seek to rectify them timely through partnering with appropriate cross functional departments as needed.
- Maintain systems through regular ongoing monitoring and updating of the systems and software tools.
- Conduct periodic, as well as enhance existing automated, security checks and audits of the systems and address concerns found.
- Implementing best practices and coding standards
What our team expects from you?
- Bachelor’s in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent education and experience.
- At least 7 years of experience within technical operations
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Qlikview/QlikSense, SAS, Power B.I. or other Business Intelligence software and/or data visualization programs is required.
- Knowledge with additional data analytic tools such as SQL, Python or R is preferred.
- Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
- The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
