In this role you will strategically source and manage complex professional service engagements, leading contract negotiations for high-impact services including legal, marketing, research organizations, travel, and corporate events while driving value through innovative supplier relations.

Every day you will collaborate with stakeholders to identify service needs, develop comprehensive sourcing strategies, and structure agreements that optimize both service delivery and cost effectiveness.

To thrive in this role, you must combine sophisticated business acumen with strong negotiation skills, demonstrating expertise in professional services procurement while building stakeholder engagement across the organization.

This Buyer, Professional Services role offers a unique opportunity to shape Natcast's service provider ecosystem. The position focuses on strategic sourcing of professional services that enable Natcast's mission while ensuring optimal value and performance from our critical service providers.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end source to contract for professional services including legal, marketing, research, travel, and corporate events

  • Develop and execute category strategies for professional services procurement

  • Construct supporting business case analysis

  • Structure and negotiate complex service agreements

  • Manage stakeholder relationships and requirements gathering

  • Evaluate supplier performance and maintain performance metrics

  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures

  • Drive continuous improvement in professional services delivery

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field

  • 5 to 8 years of professional services procurement experience

  • Strong contract negotiation and stakeholder management skills

  • Experience with business case development and financial analysis

  • Proven track record in strategic sourcing and category management

  • Excellence in supplier relationship management

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

  • Remote work experience and virtual collaboration skills

Preferred skills & Experience:

  • Experience in technology or research organization environment

  • Professional certification (CPSM, CPM, CPCM)

  • Focused experience in Legal, Marketing, and Corporate Events categories
