Job Description

As Senior Consultant SAP Sales & Distribution (SD), you are responsible for configuring, implementing, and maintaining SAP SD module. You will lead the analysis and design in the SAP SD area, often in close cooperation with the customers' Sales and Distribution team, conduct structured testing internally and with users, and ensure stabilization of the solution and continuous improvements. For that you need a good understanding of the business requirements of the organizations and how to map these requirements into SAP ERP environment. KEY

The SAP SD Consultant will be responsible for implementing and maintaining SAP SD modules, which includes ensuring system functionality, developing and implementing customizations, and providing end-user support.

• Working knowledge of SAP Order Management, Aftermarket and Service Parts configuration.
• Drive functional conversations and presentations with end user clients as an SAP SME for SAP SD modules according to business requirements.
• Provide advisory guidance to SAP Clients leveraging industry best practices as recommended by SAP.
• Understanding of the technology layer and development practices for SAP ERP (ECC).
• Influence key client stakeholders on their technology and operations strategy.
• Working with, managing and motivating teams spanning multiple geographies, cultures, and organizations.
• Analyze and drive the resolution of cross-functional issues.
• Develop internal best practices within your area of expertise.
• Support in building demo systems as suggested by SAP solution management team.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of configuration knowledge (IMG/SPRO) in the area of Sales & Distribution.
• Experience with SAP ECC and SAP SD.
• English proficiency is a must-have.
• At least 2 full lifecycle SAP implementation projects experience including the use of SAP Sales & Distribution (SAP-SD) with integration with FICO/MM/PP modules.
• Working experience of SAP S/4HANA cloud.
• Certification in SAP SD S/4HANA cloud, and/or other SAP Solutions is a plus
• Experience in several industries and the industry the customer belongs to (core processes and trends of the industry).
• Business and solution-oriented, global mindset with good planning and analytical skills - Automotive industry experience.
• Vehicle Management System (IS-A-VMS) knowledge/experience is a strong plus.
• SAP Classification and Variant Configuration (SAP LO-VC).
• Experience implementing SD for a major manufacturing/discrete industry is a plus.
• Understanding of Mexican Localization and Integrations with other systems and modules is a plus.
• The project team will use communication and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and Azure DevOps.
• Experience with functional configuration and system design knowledge in the assigned modules with some cross functional awareness of components that interact with the assigned function.

Additional Information

• Expected Travel: 5% to 10%
• During cutover, go-live and hyper care significant onsite in Queretaro will be required.
