Requirements

👀 Sounds great right? What will you be doing?

We will become a sales-oriented, subject matter expert in Moneyhub’s Open Banking, Open Finance and Open Data platform, products and features specific to the Personal Finance Tech line of business.

  • Supporting sales through solutions orientated consultation, to understand prospects and client challenges and opportunities, then tailor solutions that can help those firms respond to create sustainable value. The sectors include banks & building societies, pension providers, lenders, wealth managers, insurance, utilities and investments.
  • Early stage ideation by helping clients shape our solutions so they can make the best use of the functionality available. Able to recommend product or business solutions.
  • Reporting to and working with the Propositions Director on collateral, proposals and materials that supports and demonstrates the value of Moneyhub solutions across different clients or sectors.
  • Explore and understand the clients’ current and target business processes, then help to refine their requirements and deliver the solution proposition.
  • A conduit between product and sales, influencing the roadmap and championing new capabilities.
  • Working alongside technical experts to solve problems. Able to produce both sales and technical collateral, including documenting configuration requirements and associated technical solutions.
  • To constantly learn new technical skills and apply these to solve problems, tailoring the approach to match client’s needs and interests.

Desired Experience

  • Strong customer facing experience within a SaaS sales or technical environment, a software solutions provider or, in software implementation/ upgrade projects, ideally working in, or with clients in, the Financial Services sector.
  • Experience of driving client relationships through pre-sales and into delivery; helping the sales team to close deals.
  • A strong understanding of cloud software products, including areas of Single Sign On, and client branded solutions.
  • Ideally have experience in Open Banking, Open Finance or Open Data and the use of consent flows.
  • An understanding of how open data, APIs and technology can be used to create value for clients and consumers.
  • Experience working with or for regulated businesses and comfortable with compliance, particularly in Financial Services.
  • A strong understanding of the financial services industry and products.

Skills that underpin the role:

  • Good working knowledge of financial services products, operations and customer journeys (e.g. origination and servicing), regulation and industry best practice.
  • Business, analytical and technical skills to support our clients in delivering solutions that tackle real world problems and create value for the client and end-consumer alike.
  • A consultative approach to product and technology design. Able to deal with complex problems and suggest innovative solutions.
  • Comfortable building rapport and communicating with a range of audiences, including senior stakeholders.
  • Able to understand both business & technical needs and to explain how our technology works. A flair for tailoring and delivering product demonstrations to clients, both face to face or over video, to give them an insight into the product.
  • An ability to explain complex concepts while adapting to new information uncovered during client workshops.
  • A willingness to constantly learn new skills and keep abreast of advances in UK financial services, open banking and open data.
