- Announcements & updates: draft site announcements, feature updates, and support on regular newsletters.
- Social collaboration: propose and draft posts, threads, and replies across major platforms; run small experiments; and vary tone appropriately—from credible, stable pillar-of-community to playful/pugnacious when useful.
- Press releases: prepare and place when warranted.

Requirements
- Strong existing network of journalists/editors and recent, demonstrable placements; confident pitching across science/tech/politics.
- Strong writing and editing; fast turnaround on clean, accurate copy.
- Numerate; comfortable with probabilities/forecasts and writing about results accurately (no deep math required).
- Ideally, has knowledge of forecasting and/or prediction markets, and can communicate these topics clearly.
- Operates independently with light oversight; organized and responsive.
- Nice to have: experience posting from brand accounts; familiarity with data-driven or scientific communication.
