Your Opportunity

A number of Clinical Operations Lead positions have recently been created to support and develop our Triage Nurses and General Practitioners (GP’s), who complete calls from the general public and private insurance members related to health concerns. This critical operational and people leadership role will:

  • Lead a team of ~25 frontline Telehealth Triage Nurses and GP’s; supporting their consistent achievement of performance and productivity objectives through partnership, auditing, coaching, calibrations, tactical supervision and proactive intervention
  • Lead a culture of clinical excellence, customer focus, continuous improvement and operational efficiency with your team, naturally with the support the wider leadership team
  • Utilise your deep understanding of best practice to consistently provide safe and efficient clinical service delivery in an omni channel contact centre environment (including using a suite of technological platforms and applications)
  • Ensure the Amplar Nurse Triage and After-Hours GP workforce is utilised for maximum benefit to the population, clients and organisation.

This is a rare phone-based work from home permanent opportunity. This role is full time.

Our services operate 24 x 7 with the majority of your roster spanning evenings, overnight, public holidays and weekends. This role will require you to work approximately 75% out of hours - overnight, weekends and public holidays. During the recruitment process we will seek to understand your availability and preferences – and endeavour to build a roster to suit this as well as meet the needs of the business. As such start and finish hours can likely be staggered.

This role suits an AHPRA registered RN with at least 5+ years of clinical experience in either A&E, Paediatric, Community Care and/or Acute Medical/Surgical, who is comfortable leading and inspiring a team of Nursing and GP professionals. As a key operational leader, we are looking for a growth mindset so you can lead through improving key performance metrics and creating a positive environment for your team to learn and grow.

You will need a strong level of proficiency with contact centre software, KPI’s, reporting as well as virtual mediums like audio/video conferencing, instant messaging, chat rooms and collaborative software etc…
