The Biomedical Ethics Research Program at Mayo Clinic seeks applicants for a post-baccalaureate research experience in empirical bioethics research. The Graduate Research Employment Program (GREP) provides students throughout Mayo Clinic with the opportunity participate in educational activities and conduct research in a mentored environment, for up to 2 years.
The Biomedical Ethics GREP program is designed for individuals who have completed a bachelor’s degree and plan to attend graduate school, law school or medical school. In addition to conducting bioethics research, GREP students are eligible to take graduate-level courses through the Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and shadow clinicians in nearly every area of the clinic. This paid position is ideal for students interested in a “gap year” between their undergraduate and graduate degree programs. Following this program, past GREP students matriculated into top medical and laws schools throughout the U.S.
