QA Engineer

Maxana is seeking a dedicated QA Engineer to join our dynamic team that will support our industry leading client. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of both mobile and web applications through rigorous testing and validation processes. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to design and implement effective test strategies that support our continuous delivery goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Identify, document, and track bugs or issues found during testing, and collaborate with the development team to resolve them.
• Utilize automated testing tools and frameworks to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Perform manual testing of software applications across different devices and platforms.
• Conduct performance and load testing to ensure applications meet scalability and responsiveness requirements.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality.
• Work closely with product managers to ensure that testing aligns with project timelines and deliverables.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to quality discussions within the development team.

Requirements

• B2 English Level or Abovw
• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing roles (both manual and automated) for Web and Mobile applications
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG) and familiarity with at least one scripting or programming language.
• Understanding of relational databases and ability to write SQL queries for data validation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate testing needs and results clearly.
• Experience in Agile or Scrum development environments is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
