This role represents an opportunity to be at the forefront of transformation, innovation, and service excellence for our U.S. Retirement business within the Global Wealth and Asset Management (GWAM) segment. The Senior Business Analyst – Trust Custody and Unitization will help to shape a new trust operations ecosystem including complementary tenets of people, process and technology as we integrate with a third-party sub-custodian.
We require a background and experience in mutual fund operations, process design, risk mitigation and a proven ability to work closely with various partners, and a strong desire to learn what is needed to properly support the business for the future.
Position Responsibilities:
Process Design and Improvement: Assist in defining and improving processes needed to support FIS Omni DC / Trade and Matrix ensuring adequate controls are implemented and documented with a risk mitigation lens. Adjust and improve processes as additional functionality is introduced.
Training and Procedures: Act as subject matter expert (SME) for trust operations including establishment of training requirements, criteria and procedure documentation. Work closely with the training department to train business unit members.
Risk Management: Conduct thorough analysis to identify potential risks in operational processes and develop strategies to mitigate these risks, ensuring business continuity.
Performance Measurement: Define and monitor KPIs to evaluate operational efficiency and vendor oversight. Continuously optimize processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Projects: Serve as lead on various trust operations projects, assisting in development of detailed project plan.
Reporting: Prepare and present regular updates and status reports to management and partners.
Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Eliciting and documenting business and technical requirements for the team’s platforms and systems.
Strategic alignment: Ensure tech solutions align with business objectives, working with product management and tech teams.
Required Qualifications:
Proven expertise in FIS OMNI (OmniTrade, OmniDC, OmniScript), SQL, Excel and PowerBI tools.
Solid understanding of mutual fund operations, retirement and or transfer agent record keeping, reconciliation processes and investment attributes.
Demonstrated success in leading high-impact projects, system implementations and operational transformations.
Excellent communication and facilitation skills; able to influence diverse trams and translate technical information into business value.
Analytical thinker with a track record of solving complex problems and developing innovative solutions.
Ability to think strategically, assess alternatives for short- and long-term impacts and act decisively.
Strong influencing skills with ability to make sound recommendations.

Salary range is expected to be between
