Product Owner

The person assuming the role of Product Owner will be responsible for the following job duties:
• Define and maintain the product vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with company goals and market needs.
• Independently manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that the team always works on the most impactful projects.
• Create detailed stories, clarify stories as necessary to support the development teams
• Lead the planning of product release plans and set expectations for delivery of new functionalities.
• Confirm that executed stories comply with Majesco’s Definition of Done
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support, to ensure successful product releases.
• Engage with customers and stakeholders to gather and validate requirements and feedback.
• Work closely with senior leadership to inform product strategy and provide updates on product progress and milestones.
• Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to inform product decisions and strategy.
• Ensure product aligns with user needs, business goals, and technical capabilities.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Monitor and report on product performance, quality, and usage metrics.

Education requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field. Master's degree is a plus.

Required experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management or related field within a software product company.
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies and principles.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take full ownership of product decisions.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and working with senior leadership.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions based on data and analytics.
  • Technical background with knowledge of software development

Majesco is committed to equal pay and transparency. The annual base salary range for this position is $107,000 - $125,000.
