Lumina

Lumina is a community-based recruiting and benefits platform designed specifically for blue and grey collar workers across Southeast Asia. Founded in 2021, the company emerged with a mission to build technologies for 300 million Indonesians to find jobs and achieve financial stability.

The platform addresses critical challenges in the Southeast Asian job market by connecting workers with employment opportunities and providing a supportive community for upskilling. Lumina has experienced rapid growth, attracting over 2 million job seekers and more than 50 thousand job listings from thousands of companies within months of its launch. The company focuses on helping laid-off workers find employment, particularly as economies recover from the impacts of COVID-19.

As a Y Combinator-backed startup, Lumina operates as a technology company at heart, building high-engagement consumer products that match varying user needs with innovative technological solutions. The company develops multiple products including LumiBot, a business automation platform targeting the global market, and its flagship job platform. Lumina's team works in small, iterative sprints with a focus on experimentation to gain actionable insights and deliver value to users.
