We are seeking a NGS Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and enhance a customer-facing platform that supports the adoption of NGS products and services. The role plays a key part in driving customer satisfaction and business growth through close collaboration with product management, marketing, and commercial teams.
Requirements
- Develop, deliver, maintain, and continuously improve a customer-facing NGS portal integrated with LIMS and other lab systems.
- Work within a small Scrum team to design and implement robust, high-quality software solutions using modern technologies.
- Contribute to new digitalization initiatives for customer-facing processes and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Administer and maintain in-house client portal systems and perform ad-hoc technical tasks as required.
- Support administration of a heterogeneous network of Linux and Windows servers, with access to confidential information.
- Collaborate globally with product management, marketing, and commercial teams to define project scope and requirements.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, code reviews, and release management.
- Continuously adopt the latest technologies, frameworks, and practices to improve efficiency and system performance.
- Utilize relational database knowledge and, ideally, experience with statistics or big data analysis for KPI reporting.
- Adhere to PPE policies and perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
