Benefits and perks at Levels
Learn about the 8 benefits and perks Levels offers its employees.
Fertility benefits
We have programs for a fertility stipend.
Retirement benefits
We offer the ability to contribute to a 401(k) for retirement savings.
Healthcare benefits
We contribute towards 80% of a medical, dental, and vision insurance plan in the US. Comparable benefits are offered outside of the US as well, but are regional specific.
Virtual assemblages
We come together as a team once per quarter for a few days of joint events. Past assemblages have featured guest speakers, lightning talks, group cooking classes, team trivia, breathwork, workouts, and other sync activities. We work intentionally to avoid the typical “zoom-drain” events.
Meetups
Though we are distributed by default, we lean into many opportunities that exist to meet one another in-person around the world. This practice helps us build trust and get to know one another more deeply. And we play a friendly (but competitive) round of bingo to see who can meet the most people each year.
Generous & transparent compensation
We’re a venture-backed startup and have a compensation structure optimized for the long-term interests of our business & members, employees, and investors. We structure our equity policies to be exceedingly employee-friendly, and we pay SF-Bay Area salaries regardless of where you live, computed by a transparent formula.
Unlimited vacation (w/ minimum required)
We offer unlimited paid vacation with a catch – **you must take off *at least* one week per quarter.** This should be at least 5 contiguous days during which we ask that you not check in with the team, not check your email, and not engage in any other work-related activities. If you want, we can even disable your accounts for the week to make this easier.
Async & distributed
We’re a remote-first, fully distributed team. You’ll find us in cities and countries around the world – New Zealand to the United Kingdom, Portugal to Colombia, Canada to the United States. To operate effectively, we default to asynchronous workflows and tools. We leave our days free of recurring meetings, interruptive messages, and other workplace distractions to focus our time on the work.
