Leidos Digital Modernization Sector is looking for a Journeyman Test Engineer to work on the Army Global Unified Network (AGUN) – Increment 1 (INC1) program. The Global Enterprise Network Modernization –OCONUS (GENM-O) is a critical mission provider responsible for keeping the Army connected through global network modernization projects. The Army Global Unified Network (AGUN) - Increment 1 (INC1) will unify the next generation of Army transport to comply with the Joint Regional Security Stack (JRSS) divestiture mandate. A phased systematic approach is required to provide individual sites with standardized, updated technology systems to ensure the Army’s Information Technology (IT) infrastructure is equipped to provide soldiers with cutting-edge technology to ensure applications, data, and enterprise services are accessible, trusted, and interoperable across the globe. Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments. Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks. Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems. Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Performs testing and validation on new and existing systems infrastructure.
  • Conducts System Acceptance Testing (SAT) to evaluate compliance during implementation, verification, and authentication of equipment for the AGUN Software Defined Network, SDN solution to validate that it complies with the approved final design.
  • Monitors site preparation and implementation activities required for successful implementation capabilities, architectures, system design concepts, requirements, risks and opportunities, and processes for integration, test, evaluation, and transition impacts. Designs, develops, and implements test and evaluation strategies, plans and methods to assure reliability of systems in conjunction with system specifications and defined enterprise capabilities, and integrates system and AGUN enterprise elements together so they work as a whole.
  • Ensures end-to-end quality through the test process.
  • Collaborates with Quality Analysts and Quality Manager to ensure quality checklists are current.
  • Defines, documents, analyzes, performs, and interprets tests by developing and executing automated testing scripts as part of a tailored Network Security Development Operations (NetSecDevOps) and Security Development Operations (SecDevOps) pipeline for AGUN software and hardware.
  • Performs technical planning, verification and validation, quality assurance, integration, and fielding.
  • This role also involves generating test data in multiple environments.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related experience or a Masters and 3+ years of related experience. A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Demonstrated experience working within the Agile framework.
  • IAT II, OS
  • US Citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working within Army’s IT infrastructure.
  • DoD 8570 certifications.
  • Secret security clearance.

Pay Range $72,150.00 - $130,425.00
