Leidos has a new opportunity for a Mid-Level Logistician in the Intel Sector's Cyber & Analytics Business Area. The ideal candidate will play a key role in enhancing, testing, and deploying a large-scale Satellite Communications system. Requirements
- Support a complex technical program using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology
- Manage hardware, software, and service purchases for a geographically distributed, multi-node hardware/software system
- Collaborate closely with Infrastructure Teams, System Test, System Administration, Integration Engineers, and Software Engineers
- Track hardware and software inventory and status across the program and maintain required documentation
- Support the full procurement life cycle for software licenses and hardware assets
- Track hardware warranties and software maintenance periods to prevent lapses in vendor support
- Coordinate with program team members to ensure streamlined and timely procurement of materials aligned to program needs
- Monitor material movement through the procurement process, identify impediments, and drive resolution
- Engage buyers and material planners to prioritize urgent procurement requests and coordinate the delivery of materials
- Must have at least 8 years of related experience
- Must have at least 5 years of experience in a logistics role with responsibilities beyond basic hardware or asset tracking
- Must have experience with purchase requisition processes and procedures
- Must have strong working knowledge of IT equipment, hardware, and software
- Must have experience or strong familiarity with creating, reading, and maintaining Bills of Material (BOMs)
- Must be proficient with Excel, including use of formulas for data analysis and tracking
- Must have experience researching parts and technical configurations from engineering specifications
- Knowledge of software licensing models
- Must have direct experience working with engineers, control account managers, and planners to develop, review, and refine quotes
- Experience collaborating with buyers and material planners throughout the procurement process
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent purchases at various stages of the lifecycle
- Must be self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to independently plan and prioritize daily tasks, ongoing projects, and recurring processes
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively interface with engineers, planners, and customers
- Must be detail-oriented and possess strong organizational skills
