The Opportunity

Our client is looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer / PHP Developer to join their engineering team. Founded and led by engineers, the company maintains a flat organizational structure where most team members are engineers, fostering a culture of autonomy and technical ownership. You will have more control over your code than in many traditional settings - not just maintaining existing systems but actively building new features, redesigning complex interfaces, and making key technical decisions. What You'll Do

• Write clean, secure, and high-quality code aligned with product requirements

• Build interactive web applications, RESTful APIs, and efficient algorithms

• Optimize application performance, security, and browser compatibility

• Collaborate closely with a team of engineers to meet tight deadlines

• Lead feature implementation, redesign complex interfaces, and influence technical decisions

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (required)

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer or PHP Developer on SaaS platforms

• Strong experience with LAMP/LEMP stack and Linux command line proficiency

• Proven ability to build scalable, load-balanced web applications and APIs

• Experience working in fast-paced, startup-like environments with multiple priorities

Preferred Technical Skills

• Programming Languages: PHP, JavaScript, Python, Java

• Frontend Frameworks/Libraries: ReactJS, JQuery, Bootstrap

• Backend & API: RESTful APIs, AJAX, microservices architecture

• Databases: SQL, NoSQL (Cassandra, MongoDB), Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Hive, HBase)

• Caching & Messaging: Redis, RabbitMQ

• Cloud & Containerization: Docker, AWS, IaaS, PaaS, Elastic Search

• DevOps & Version Control: Git, Bitbucket, third-party testing tools and frameworks

• Bonus: Experience with security/privacy technologies such as encryption algorithms and vulnerability assessment tools
