Responsibilities
- SharePoint Development: Design, develop, and implement SharePoint solutions to meet organizational needs, including custom web parts, workflows, lists, libraries, and integration with other systems.
- Customization and Configuration: Customize SharePoint sites using out-of-the-box features, SharePoint Designer, and other development tools to enhance usability and functionality.
- Integration and Migration: Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate SharePoint solutions with existing systems and applications, as well as perform data migration and content management tasks.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure SharePoint solutions adhere to government security standards and compliance requirements, including but not limited to DISA STIGs and FISMA/NIST guidelines.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SharePoint-related issues, including user inquiries, system performance, and maintenance tasks.
- Documentation and Training: Create technical documentation, user guides, and training materials for SharePoint solutions and conduct training sessions as needed.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with project managers, stakeholders, and other team members to define requirements, prioritize tasks, and deliver solutions that align with mission objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a SharePoint Developer, preferably in a government contracting environment supporting the USMC.
- Active Public Trust clearance is required.
- Proficiency in SharePoint 2013/2016/2019 and SharePoint Online (O365), including development, administration, and configuration.
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint development tools and technologies such as SharePoint Designer, PowerShell, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and REST API.
- Experience with SharePoint migration tools and techniques is preferred.
