TALENT ACQUISITION COORDINATOR (TEMP)

Start Date: ASAP

Term: 12+ months (subject to change without notice)
Hours: 40 hours/week; Mon-Fri, 8 AM -5 PM (can flex if needed)
Location: Remote (prefer candidate resides in the Portland, OR or Fremont, CA area)

The Talent Acquisition (TA) Coordinator primarily functions as ambassador to internal and external stakeholders and candidates, ensuring a positive, professional experience. This role requires a strong ownership mentality with pride in the quality of your work. As Lam’s Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence (COE) continues to be developed there will be opportunities to incorporate other tasks into the Coordinator role. At this time, the role is focused on scheduling candidate interviews for the North America Talent Acquisition team.

Job Duties

  • Navigating multiple interviewers’ complex and dynamic schedules, organize a professional interview agenda for each candidate; manage changes as needed
  • For onsite interviews, schedule a conference room with capabilities that support the interview format (ex., candidate presentations, video conferencing external attendees)
  • Using Outlook, schedule the interview with all participants, monitoring invites for acceptance
  • Email the candidate a draft interview agenda and any supporting information (ex., how to book travel, presentation guidelines, etc.); provide address and a site map noting the building they will report to upon arrival
  • Partner with Recruiter, Hiring Manager, and Admins as needed to finalize interview details; send the final interview agenda once confirmed
  • Document and track interview details on the interview scheduling tracker
  • Continually identify opportunities for process and system improvements to streamline workflow, enhance customer and candidate experience, etc.

As the COE continues to expand, additional services offered may include new-hire onboarding, candidate relocation estimates, liaison for candidate immigration support, and HR project support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience with high-volume interview scheduling in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, ideally as a Recruiter or Recruiting Coordinator
  • Experience using Outlook to schedule and manage complex interview schedules; proficient with Word and Excel
  • Able to effectively manage continually fluctuating priorities; must have high attention to detail, completing tasks quickly and accurately
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Passion for providing excellent customer service and building strong relationships

Success in this role also requires being open to giving and receiving process improvement feedback; must be able to make strategic and timely decisions, understanding when to own a decision and when to involve others; possess outstanding people skills with a high degree of empathy. Experience with SuccessFactors is beneficial.
