Key Responsibilities

• Architecture & Design
• Develop and maintain enterprise security architecture frameworks aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements. Design secure systems, networks, and applications using industry best practices and zero-trust principles. Lead threat modeling, risk assessments, and security design reviews for new and existing systems.
• Strategy & Leadership
• Define long-term cybersecurity architecture strategy and roadmap. Serve as a technical advisor to executive leadership on emerging threats and technologies. Mentor junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of security-first thinking.
• Collaboration & Integration
• Work closely with infrastructure, cloud, DevOps, and application teams to embed security into all layers of technology. Partner with compliance and legal teams to ensure alignment with standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, ISA 62443, and GDPR.
• Technology & Innovation
• Evaluate and recommend security tools, platforms, and services. Stay current with evolving threat landscapes, attack vectors, and mitigation techniques. Drive adoption of automation and orchestration in security operations.
• Governance & Compliance
• Lead Security Architecture Review Board
• Ensure architectural designs meet internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
• Support audits, assessments, and incident response efforts with architectural insights.
• Develop cybersecurity policies, frameworks, standards, baselines, and procedures

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors’ or Master’s degree
• 12+ years of experience in cybersecurity
• 5+ years of experience in an architectural role

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors’or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity

• Strong knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS, SABSA, TOGAF).
• Expertise in cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP), network security, identity & access management, and secure software development.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or SABSA are highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Experience with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and vulnerability management platforms.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Security architecture for a manufacturing organization (e.g. OT / ICS / IoT controls)

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $173,400-$204,000. Individuals may also be eligible for an annual performance bonus based on both individual and company’s performance. The final compensation for this position will be set based on the individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience as it relates to the job requirements.
