Summary
We are looking for a seasoned sales professional to join our team to build out our combined Sales Operations capabilities. The ideal location would have this candidate residing near or in Chicago, IL however any location in the US is acceptable.Reporting directly to the Sr. Director Sales Operations, the Sales Operations Analyst is a key member of the Sales Leadership Team. He/she is responsible for technical expert for sales operations functions including sales comp, sales reporting, sales process improvement, pricing, distributor and rep contract management and CRM management. A successful candidate will have a history of demonstrated strength in analytics, sales planning, sales process deployment, leveraging technology, and data analysis in sales, CRM architecture and process improvement.The Sales Operations Analyst will demonstrate superior leadership skills, work well with a team, work with all levels of management, and have the ability to work independently with little or no supervision. The Sales Ops Analyst must have superior decision-making skills, problem-solving skills, and conflict-management abilities. He/she must have a have deep experience in CRM, reporting, sales process, and be able to design programs that will drive success through distribution.

Responsibilities
• Support the sales team by providing process improvement, measurement, tracking and analytics relevant to their functional areas
• Provide actionable insights to sales team through derivation & translation of data
• Improve sales data integrity – including Point of Sale, CRM, and PowerBI related workspaces
• Partner with Sales and Marketing departments to refine opportunity and lead management processes, build and deliver analysis and reports on campaign and sales performance with reporting and dashboards
• Lead sales compensation plan design, reporting and maintenance
• Own CRM refinement, reporting, and administration – focus on automation and AI skills
• Drive increased sales productivity by leading sales process installation and refinement
• Create monthly content for executive presentations and board reporting
• Leverage databases and market data to identify and target sales opportunities
• Own the end-to-end process of tracking the sales funnel and operational metrics and delivering regular insights to the business; define and deliver techniques to improve the funnel performance for sales management.
• Assist with on-boarding and training new sales talent
• Maintain regular check-ins with Sales Managers/Enterprise Sales Representatives and others who contribute to opportunity development to determine how sales opportunities are tracking against plan and identify any problems for internal review and problem solving
• Maintain contract documentation and drive design of sales contract improvements

Requirements
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field of study (advanced management degree preferred)
• Minimum 7 years proven success in sales and sales operations with over half of this in sales operations and leadership positions
• excellent growth performance track record and employee management skills
• Experience building sales process, programs, and compensation plans
• Deep sales process knowledge and history of successful installation of sales process
• Background in a fast paced, B2B technology sales environment is a must
• History of distribution contract design including functional discounting installation
• Experience in implementing and managing a metrics-based sales organization
• Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with all levels of staff, customers, and partners
• Strong administrative, management and personnel recruitment and retainment skills
• Demonstrated comfort making decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Able and willing to travel at 25% or greater
