The story of JSL Technologies, Inc. began in 2008, born from a shared vision and a wealth of experience. The founders, Joseph T. Black III, Ben Fujikawa, and Jed Williams, brought together over 60 years of cumulative management and technical expertise, primarily honed through extensive careers supporting the Department of Defense (DoD). Having lived and worked in the Ventura County area since the 1970s, they were well-established figures known throughout the local government and private industry sectors. This deep-rooted understanding of the DoD's operational needs and business landscape formed the bedrock of their new venture. They established JSL as a Small Disadvantaged and Veteran-Owned Business with a clear mission: to deliver practical, innovative, and affordable solutions, treating every customer with the focus and dedication as if they were their only one.

From its headquarters in Oxnard, California, JSL Technologies embarked on its journey to become a recognized leader in DoD engineering and technical services. The company's growth has been steady and strategic, expanding its footprint across the nation to better serve its clients. Today, with a team of over 350 professionals, JSL operates from locations in California, Virginia, Hawaii, Florida, and Washington D.C., providing support in their own offices, at customer sites, on shore installations, and even aboard ships at sea.
