About the team
Investor Relations (“IR”) is a highly visible team. Our priorities include: driving accurate valuation of Zillow Group, crafting an effective two-way dialogue between investors and management, as well as supporting long-term shareholder value creation. Together, the investor relations team focuses on ensuring investors have sufficient information to accurately build a valuation model to help them evaluate investing in our company. A primary goal of the IR team is to attract a strategic and diverse shareholder base aligned with our long-term vision, strategy, and objectives. We work closely with many matrixed organizational functions to achieve our goals, including Finance, Corporate Communications, Legal, and each of our lines of business!About the role
Investor Engagement
- Strategize with the investor relations team to implement an industry-leading institutional investor outreach program and benchmark the program to peer activities and industry best practices. Includes:
- Develops and supports an active investor relations calendar (sell- and buy side) including planning and execution of investor meetings, events, conferences, non-deal roadshows, and other communication events, as needed.
- Prepares background information for key internal spokespeople in advance of meetings with investors and other external stakeholders
- Assist with calendaring investor calls/meetings and provide support for, and participate in, meetings with institutional investors
- Owns IR email box and ensures timely responses
- Work with external vendors and the IR team to target new institutional investors
- Oversee the Investor Relations CRM / database and create summary reports for senior management and the board of directors.
Investor Relations Departmental Activities
- Maintain, update, and improve the investor relations website to best practices
- Update and maintain quarterly earnings timeline
- Evaluate current processes within the Investor Relations department and make recommendations for improvements, benchmarking IR activities against standard processes
- Other duties as assigned to support the Investor Relations department
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in business (finance / accounting), Economics, Communications, Accounting, Business Analytics, or years of equivalent industry experience.
- Experience in a similar role and a keen ability to work in a corporate environment with multiple cross-functional stakeholders.
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Solid time management skills to meet deadlines and perform tasks quickly and efficiently
- Strong executive presence and experience in communicating with executive leaders
- Self-motivated and willing to take on new challenges and responsibilities
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- An energetic, efficient, and resourceful team player and individual contributor with a curiosity to learn more
- Proven ability to handle a high-paced work environment, prioritize and manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Google Drive
- Nasdaq IRInsight experience preferred, but not required
