Project description

EPR system for a network of dental laboratories in Europe. This system is a primary operational tool for laboratory Employees and also some kind of B2B tool that would enable coordinated cooperation with dental clinics.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and mentor a team of software developers.

2. Oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of projects. Ensure that project milestones and deadlines are met.

3. Act as a primary point for technical problem-solving, providing innovative solutions to complex technical issues.

4. Design and implement robust and scalable software architectures.

5. Optimise application performance for scalability and efficiency.

6. Oversee the deployment, monitoring, and management.

7. Identify potential risks in the project lifecycle and develop mitigation strategies.

8. Conduct regular code reviews to maintain high code quality standards and encourage best practices.

9. Maintain comprehensive documentation for software designs, API integrations, and system architectures.

Requirements

1. Strong software engineering background (10+ years)

2. Extensive experience with Cloud Computing services (AWS, Azure, GCP)

3. Proficient in Java and its ecosystems. Practical experience with other technologies (Node.js, Python, .NET, etc) would be considered a great advantage

4. Knowledge of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).

5. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker). Experience in building scalable and secure web applications.

6. Work experience using Agile methodologies

7. Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of developers.

8. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

9. Excellent verbal and written communication and English skills (at upper-intermediate strong level and higher)

10. High level of responsibility and motivation to handle challenging projects
