WE ARE HIRING: Manager - Environment Sustainability


Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and lead the global sustainability strategy in alignment with corporate vision and business goals.
  • Drive transformation across supply chain, materials sourcing, product lifecycle, and packaging with measurable sustainability goals.
  • Advise on sustainability-related risks, opportunities, and regulatory trends.
  • Champion circularity, decarbonization, water stewardship, biodiversity, and social impact initiatives globally.

2. Operations & Implementation

  • Lead integration of sustainable practices across all regions and departments (procurement, manufacturing,
  • logistics, product development).
  • Oversee environmental impact assessments, lifecycle analyses, and carbon footprint initiatives.
  • Set and track science-based targets for GHG emissions reduction, waste management, and water usage.
  • Develop and oversee sustainability data collection, reporting frameworks, and KPIs (GRI, CDP, TCFD, etc.).

3. Innovation & Partnerships

  • Collaborate with R&D and innovation teams to support the identification and implementation of projects for sustainable materials and technologies.
  • Maintain our strategic partnerships with NGOs, certification bodies, and industry groups. Compliance & Reporting
  • Ensure compliance with global ESG regulations, such as EU CSRD, SEC climate disclosure rules, and local environmental laws.
  • Prepare annual sustainability/impact reports and manage third-party assurance and verification processes as necessary
  • Monitor ESG risks

4. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Engage internal teams to build sustainability awareness and accountability through training and leadership.
  • Act as the companys spokesperson on sustainability matters in external forums, media, and investor relations.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers and ensure alignment with sustainability codes of conduct.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Educational Qualifications:

  • MSc/BSc Degree in Environment Science, Biological/Physical Science, Chemistry (Special), Chemical Engineering

2. Professional Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years

3. Technical Knowledge:

  • Deep knowledge of sustainable materials
  • Supply chain certification standards
  • ESG frameworks
  • Circular economy principles
  • Decarbonization strategies.
  • Leadership: Proven track record of leading teams and driving cross-functional initiatives.
  • Communication: Strong stakeholder engagement, public speaking, and ESG reporting skills.
  • Other: English language required (Multi lingual beneficial)
