Job Title : Finance Lead (Industry : IT)

• Work Type : WFH (Remote)

• Work Hours : 7 am to 3 pm

• Working Days : Monday to Friday

• Type of Appointment : Full-time

Requirements :

• Chartered Accountant of Sri Lanka (CASL) - preferred not essential
• Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) - preferred not essential
• Other related Accounting and Finance qualifications

Tasks and Responsibilities :

• The Finance Lead will be responsible for recording financial transactions,
  preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with financial
  regulations
• The Finance Lead will report to the Finance Manager and will work closely with the wider finance team and other departments to support the achievement of organizational goals
• Experience in preparing BAS, IAS and handling payroll
• Experience in MYOB, XERO and Excel
• Supporting the senior/managing accountant and wider finance team
• Collaborating with these teams to work on various accounting projects
• Record financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts
• receivable, and general ledger entries
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including
• processing invoices, issuing payments, and reconciling accounts. Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements
• Provide financial support to other departments within the organization
