The Head of International Field Marketing (Sr. Manager) leads marketing strategy and initiatives for Inspire’s portfolio of brands in the Americas region (LATAM, Caribbean and Canada). The person in this role is responsible for strategic planning through execution, providing consultative support and oversight to franchisees and licensees as the primary relationship lead for all areas of marketing in the region.

This role oversees a team of Field Marketing Managers (FMMs) within the Americas region. In addition, this role will directly lead select emerging brands in the Americas region. This is a critical role primarily responsible for driving transactions and achieving the budgeted Comps (Same Store Sales) while influencing licensees to adopt global marketing strategies, roadmaps and innovation into annual marketing calendars and long-range marketing plans in the region. Success in this role requires developing and maintaining strong relationships with licensees as well as key internal stakeholders (International business teams, marketing, supply chain, operations training, finance). As a member of the field marketing team, this individual will have the opportunity to share best practices and elevate the collective skillset of the team for all brands in the Inspire portfolio. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Works with the FMM team to drive development and activation of annual marketing plans with licensees to achieve Comps growth, Comps transactions growth and other business objectives, influencing licensee profitability and unit growth Relationship lead for select emerging brands with licensees and marketing agencies/vendors in the region Maintains brand standards and ensures consistency of brand voice across all marketing channels in region For select emerging brands:
  • Leads annual marketing calendar planning in region, ensuring promotional windows are prepared on schedule with impactful media plans
  • Leads planning and activation for regional promotions and partnerships
  • Leads annual menu architecture analysis and routine menu mix reviews within region, identifying menu optimization opportunities
  • Leads regional brand experience, partnerships and innovation platforms from strategy to implementation
  • Prepares routine reports for monthly, quarterly and annual business planning with licensees
  • Influences licensees to execute promotions with effective messaging, media and merchandising, and ensures measurement through post-promotional analysis reports Ensures proper cultural relevancy is incorporated into each brand’s menu, message and media strategy Works closely and meets regularly with the cross functional regional team on ways to improve the business Participates on regular planning calls with the Sr. Director, International Field Marketing, to review sales results and upcoming calendar/media plans

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4-year degree in Marketing or related field
  • Minimum 7 years marketing experience required
  • Restaurant industry relevant experience required
  • Global brand marketing experience required
  • Proficiency in additional languages (Spanish) in region required

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES:

  • Experience with product development, innovation planning, calendar and creative resources management
  • Strong analytical, organizational and written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to build relationships to lead planning and execution with licensees and vendors
  • Ability to work and lead collaboration across a wide variety of work styles and personalities
  • Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on time
  • Ability to communicate at all levels to build relationships and enhance partnerships, both internal and external
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, prioritize and be detail oriented
  • Self-starter personality who can operate with some supervision
