Job Description

We are seeking a forward-thinking, strategic leader to manage the lifecycle of internal and external content powering Informa’s enterprise AI assistant, Elysia, and the underlying AI platform supporting diverse use cases. This role is pivotal in ensuring our AI systems deliver relevant, accurate, and authoritative information, supported by a high-quality, structured knowledge base.

Acting as a bridge between content owners and technical teams, you will design, curate, and maintain a controlled document management framework. This framework will seamlessly integrate with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, fine-tuned models, and commercial solutions. Your work will directly shape how employees and customers interact with AI and access Informa’s proprietary content and intellectual property.

  • Own the end-to-end content lifecycle for AI-accessible documentation—from ingestion and curation to retirement.
  • Curate and optimise content, IP, and knowledge for AI consumption, ensuring readiness for RAG systems and fine-tuned models (including chunking, tagging, and embedding).
  • Design and evolve metadata standards to maximise discoverability by users, customers, and AI agents.
  • Establish and enforce governance processes for document updates, version control, and alignment with evolving AI models.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) liaison, collaborating with business and technical teams to validate and refine AI-ready content.
  • Lead enablement and training initiatives for content owners and SMEs, delivering guidance on metadata standards, document structuring, taxonomy design, and AI integration principles.
  • Collaborate with AI/ML teams to evaluate retrieval performance and continuously improve indexing strategies.
  • Develop standards and processes to ensure Informa’s knowledge assets are discoverable and accessible by AI models and external systems.
  • Define and maintain taxonomies and classification systems for structured, scalable knowledge management.
  • Conduct regular content quality audits and gap analyses to ensure the relevance, accuracy, and timeliness of referenced materials.
  • Champion standardised publishing frameworks that balance control, security, and business usability.
  • Support pilot initiatives and enterprise-wide rollouts of AI-integrated knowledge services.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Proven experience in knowledge management, digital content strategy, or information architecture.
  • Strong understanding of metadata, taxonomies, and structured content models.
  • Experience with document management platforms such as SharePoint, OneDrive, Confluence, etc.
  • Ability to translate business content into AI-ready formats.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to work across business and technical teams.
  • Familiarity with enterprise AI tools and concepts, including vector stores, embedding models, RAG frameworks, and fine-tuning.
  • Solid understanding of privacy-by-design principles, information security, and intellectual property protection.

Desirable:

  • Working knowledge of LLMs and their information retrieval behaviours.
  • Exposure to Python, YAML, markdown, or content engineering tools.
  • Background in library science, knowledge systems, or technical writing.
  • Experience contributing to enterprise AI governance or internal search architecture.
  • Certifications in Knowledge-Centered Support (KCS), ISO 30401, or similar.
