TL;DR:

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the evolution of our Core Platform - the foundation that powers our Industrial AI products. The Core Platform includes critical capabilities such as data management, identity & access management, APIs, and shared platform services that enable scalable, secure, and reliable delivery of AI-driven optimization to industrial customers.

In this role, you’ll drive platform strategy and execution, working closely with engineering, customers, internal and external stakeholders to build foundational systems that make every product better, faster, and easier to deliver.

This role is open to candidates in Europe, with a preference for Romania.

About us:

Imubit is redefining how industrial companies around the world adopt and scale enterprise AI, adding millions of dollars to plant bottom lines while operating safely within constraints related to energy efficiency and sustainability.

Our AI platform supports real-time optimization across complex, nonlinear industrial systems, enabling both autonomous and guided decision-making in live production environments. Fortune 500 companies rely on Imubit to continuously improve profitability and sustainability across their most valuable assets.

Backed by Insight Partners, Imubit brings together deep domain expertise from companies such as Exxon and Shell with leading AI talent from Google and other top innovators. With teams across the United States and a growing international presence, Imubit is transforming operational optimization across industries ranging from refining and aromatics to polymers and LNG liquefaction.

We are looking for:

A Senior Product Manager, Core Platform, who will own and drive key platform initiatives that enable our Industrial AI platform to scale across customers, sites, and environments. You will define product strategy, align stakeholders, and work hands-on with engineering to deliver foundational capabilities that support security, governance, usability, and extensibility.

This role is highly cross-functional. You’ll partner with product teams building customer-facing products, as well as infrastructure, security, and architecture leaders. Success means building platform capabilities that are adopted, reliable, secure, and enable product velocity.

In this position, you will:

  • Set and manage the Core Platform roadmap and priorities
  • Focus platform work on scale, security, reliability, and faster product delivery
  • Build and improve core capabilities: data foundations, identity & access (SSO/RBAC), APIs and integration tools
  • Learn needs and pain points from product teams, implementation, and customers
  • Turn input into clear requirements, success measures, and rollout plans
  • Work closely with engineering from discovery through launch and ongoing improvements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
  • 7+ years in Product Management, owning complex areas end-to-end
  • Experience building and scaling core platform capabilities such as user management and access control (SSO, RBAC), data ingestion and streaming, platform APIs and integrations
  • Strong understanding of enterprise SaaS and/or hybrid/on-prem deployments
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional work across engineering and customer-facing teams
  • Able to turn unclear problems into clear plans and shipped outcomes
  • Strong communication with both technical and non-technical audiences

Nice-to-have Qualifications:

  • Experience with AI/ML products and platforms in industrial or manufacturing settings
  • Familiarity with process manufacturing applications
  • Knowledge of analytics tools and data management practices
  • Experience working with technical end-users and translating complex requirements

In 2016, three machine learning and mathematics experts recognized a critical gap in industrial operations: refineries and chemical plants were leaving millions of dollars on the table due to fragmented decision-making and siloed optimization efforts. While each team within these complex facilities worked to improve their respective areas, no solution existed to coordinate these efforts across roles, units, and constraints. This insight led to the founding of Imubit - a company built to close the loop between data-driven AI and real-world industrial process control.

Imubit has since emerged as the industry leading Closed Loop AI Optimization platform for heavy process industries, deploying its technology at over 90 sites worldwide and trusted by top U.S. refiners including Chevron, Marathon, Citgo, and HF Sinclair. The company's Optimizing Brain™ Solution leverages advanced reinforcement learning and neural network technology to understand a plant's most complex process relationships and identify the most optimal operating strategy in any scenario. By integrating directly with existing process controls infrastructure, Imubit ensures that no optimization value goes uncaptured - delivering results like $0.25 per barrel margin improvement and 15-30% reduction in natural gas usage.
