The selected candidate will join a fully remote, dynamic team that is responsible for attracting and engaging executive-level audiences across Health Evolution’s range of in-person and virtual events and initiatives. Health Evolution convenes several dozen virtual meetings and two, large in-person events each year:

  • The Health Evolution Forum: The Forum is a peer-to-peer collaboration among leaders across health care sectors focused on driving near-term impact. The Forum currently consists of eleven Roundtables and 400+ fellows. The eleven current Roundtables include the following:
    • Integrated Home-Based Care Models
    • Digital-Forward Consumer Experience
    • Commercial Risk-Based Contracting
    • Value-Based Care for Specialized Populations
    • Data-Driven Health Equity Strategies
    • Scalable Social Drivers of Health Solutions
    • AI and Data-Powered Innovation
    • Personalized Health Ecosystem
    • Innovations in Mental and Behavioral Health
    • Confab for Advancing Women in Leadership
    • Frontiers in Courageous Leadership
  • Summit: The largest, most influential gathering of health care CEOs in America, which convenes each April in Dana Point, CA.
  • Connect: A curated gathering of CEOs and C-suite officers focused on implementing transformational strategies, which convenes each September in Nashville, TN.

Job Description

The Manager is a critical and highly collaborative position on the content and programming team. The role is central to creating sophisticated, market-leading experiences and deliverables for CEOs and C-Suite executives across Health Evolution’s in-person and virtual gatherings. The Manager works closely with team members and leadership to support the design, execution, and follow-up of virtual Forum Roundtable meetings, which convene cross-industry leaders to delve into specific topics.

Ideal candidates are intellectually curious and highly motivated to help health care executives see complex challenges in a new light. They have excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with an aptitude for creating organized, concise, and actionable summaries for an executive audience. Additionally, they have strong research and analysis skills, which include finding, reviewing, capturing, and synthesizing information from external industry sources and Health Evolution events to further the objectives of the Roundtables. They also have effective project management skills and a desire to work seamlessly with team members to ensure Forum Roundtable convenings are designed and executed in a timely and efficient manner. Successful candidates have strong attention to detail, organization, collaboration, and time management skills to effectively advance multiple projects at once.

While deep subject matter expertise is not required, candidates should have relevant expertise or experience that aligns with one or more of Health Evolution’s six overarching focus areas: care model redesign, payment redesign, community-focused health, innovation & discovery, organizational transformation, and mental & behavioral health.

Primary Job Responsibilities

Contribute to Programming Team Operations

  • Collaborate with team members to plan and execute on virtual sessions for specific executive Roundtables, which includes background research, speaker identification, drafting meeting agendas, slides, and discussion outlines to facilitate effective peer-to-peer Roundtable conversations for senior executives.
  • Partner with team members to complete high-priority team projects, including providing input on annual programming agenda, drafting and refining external-facing materials, and developing shared internal processes and templates.
  • Partner with team members to provide white-glove communications with executives and their staff to manage logistics across Health Evolution events.
  • Support the design and execution of experiences at Summit and Connect, especially sessions that convene the Forum Roundtables at these in-person events, to create an engaging and integrated experience for executives participating in multiple Health Evolution convenings.
  • Manage project execution to drive toward defined milestones and goals, including maintaining and monitoring work plans, proactively identifying potential challenges, working with teammates to determine appropriate solutions, performing project tasks, documenting important actions and decisions from meetings, and organizing project documentation.

Develop Insightful Executive Communications

  • Partner with team members and leadership to develop insightful and actionable post-meeting summaries for Roundtable participants and create market-facing content, such as reports and recommendations, to amplify impact across the industry.
  • Distill insights from Health Evolution events, interviews, surveys, and other sources to produce thought leadership content for the Health Evolution website and marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with team members and leadership to identify engaging and important topics where cross-industry discussion will generate valuable insights.

Conduct Research and Analysis to Support Forum Roundtables

  • Document primary research interviews with health care leaders, conduct and analyze surveys, and summarize key findings across multiple sources of information.
  • Perform secondary research to advance Forum Roundtable objectives, including reviewing and synthesizing information from industry publications, scholarly journals, news articles, press releases, and webinars.

Qualifications

  • Relevant experience: You have 3-6 years of health care industry experience in research, consulting, health policy, project management, program management, or similar roles that involve managing evolving, executive-facing projects or initiatives in the health care industry. You have experience both generating and communicating executive-level insights, especially in written formats. Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Intellectual curiosity: You have a passion for health care and engaging with the people who aim to make it better. You have a strong interest in exploring and addressing complex, cross-industry challenges and are excited to collaborate with cutting-edge leaders and executives working to transform the industry.
  • Project management: You have a demonstrated ability to balance and advance multiple projects simultaneously. You operate with a sense of urgency and can excel in an execution-focused environment.
  • Collaboration: You thrive in a virtual team-based environment working collaboratively and proactively to advance shared goals and objectives. You excel at building and maintaining strong professional relationships with multiple colleagues at once.
  • Communication skills: You are a clear and structured verbal and written communicator with the ability to synthesize large amounts of information into concise summaries. You have experience with a range of platforms, including Word and PowerPoint.
