The Opportunity
Health Catalyst is seeking a leader that will continue our work of creating a consolidated delivery organization to drive predictable, scalable implementation across our growing product portfolio. The SVP of Implementation and Delivery will architect and lead this transformation, unifying previously siloed delivery teams into a high performing organization with shared accountability, standardized processes, and a culture of continuous improvement.
This is a ground-floor leadership opportunity to build something transformative. You'll consolidate delivery verticals including Interoperability implementation, DOS Data Products, Data Pipeline Services, and the DOS to Ignite migration team into a unified function that sets the standard for healthcare technology delivery.

What You'll Do
Strategic Leadership
- Establish a unified delivery vision that creates a single culture of accountability and ownership across all implementation teams, transforming disparate delivery verticals into a cohesive, high-performing organization
- Design and implement a standardized project governance framework with clear KPIs (on-time delivery, on-budget execution, scope adherence, quality standards) and real-time portfolio visibility
- Lead organizational change management using proven frameworks to transition teams to standardized practices, ensuring leadership buy-in and minimizing disruption
- Integrate future acquisitions into the delivery organization, evaluating their processes for best practices while extending Health Catalyst's methodologies to new team members
Operational Excellence
- Create intervention protocols with defined escalation pathways and communication standards for when projects deviate from time, budget, or quality targets, eliminating ambiguity for clients and team members
- Normalize delivery patterns for teams through actionable improvement plans with clear timelines to achieve repeatable, predictable delivery
- Drive continuous improvement in high performing teams through quarterly OKRs, demanding measurable gains in delivery speed without compromising quality
- Maintain quality standards as delivery accelerates by tracking post deployment support tickets and client satisfaction metrics
Collaboration & Client Engagement
- Develop formal collaboration protocols with Platform & Product Development, Analytic Services, and Strategic Account Executives to ensure seamless delivery
- Engage directly with healthcare system executives (CIOs, CMIOs, CFOs) to ensure client satisfaction and support strategic account growth
- Champion feedback loops that continuously improve delivery methodology based on team insights, client input, and industry best practices
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in technology implementation, professional services, or delivery management
- 5+ years leading large-scale transformation initiatives with demonstrable results in process standardization and performance improvement
- Proven track record managing delivery portfolios of $25M+ with multi-year, complex enterprise implementations
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite stakeholders and building trust with senior healthcare leadership
- Change management expertise with experience in leading through organizational change
- Deep knowledge of project delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and when to apply each approach
- Data driven decision making with experience establishing KPIs, dashboards, and intervention frameworks
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
Healthcare technology experience, particularly with EHR integrations, data platforms, or clinical analytics
SaaS implementation background with experience scaling delivery models
PMP, SAFe, or Scrum Master certifications
Experience with healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, CCD/CCDA)
Prior P&L responsibility for a delivery organization
Master's degree (MBA, MHA, MS in related field)

First 90 Days
- Complete comprehensive assessment of current delivery state across all teams
- Establish relationships with key stakeholders (product leaders, strategic account executives, client champions)
- Define priority KPIs and baseline metrics for delivery performance
- Create initial roadmap for organizational integration and process standardization
First Year
- Consolidate delivery teams under unified operating model with shared processes and metrics
- Reduce project overruns by 30% through improved governance and early intervention
- Achieve 85%+ on time, on budget delivery rate across portfolio
- Successfully integrate at least one acquisition or new product line into delivery organization
- Build trust with executive leadership as a strategic partner driving business outcomes
Information Security and Compliance Responsibilities:
- Maintain compliance with training directives required by the organization pertaining to Information Security, Acceptable Use Policy and HIPAA Privacy and Security.
- Adhere to and comply with the organizations Acceptable Use Policy.
- Safeguard information system assets by identifying and reporting potential and actual security events to the organizations Security and Compliance Officers.
