Responsibilities
Deal Shaping & Client Engagement
- Partner with Advisory and account teams to own the technical side of the sales cycle from initial qualification and discovery through to signed SoW.
- Run discovery workshops with business, technical, and compliance stakeholders to understand requirements, constraints, and success metrics for Web3 initiatives.
- Design and deliver tailored demos and Proofs of Concept (PoCs) that de-risk solutions and accelerate decision-making.
- Create architecture decks, technical solution documents, SoWs, and RFP/RFI responses that clearly articulate our approach and differentiators.
- Build high-level delivery estimates and effort breakdowns, collaborating with engineering, product, and advisory to feed into pricing and commercial structures.
- Act as the technical account owner during pre-sales, ensuring a smooth handover to delivery and staying engaged with key clients as a trusted advisor.
Solution Architecture
- Design and architect secure, scalable, and robust Web3 applications on Hedera Hashgraph networks.
- Use C4, Archimate, BPMN, and/or UML (as appropriate) to model business processes, domain concepts, and system interactions for DeFi, ESG, and Identity solutions.
- Translate high-level business requirements into end-to-end architectures spanning smart contracts, off-chain components, APIs, identity/authorization, and observability.
- Identify and propose innovative solution patterns (e.g., tokenization, decentralized identity, ESG-linked assets) to improve efficiency, transparency, and trust.
- Create comparative analyses showing the advantages of Web3 solutions versus traditional centralized systems.
- Build value propositions tailored to specific industries and client needs
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, implementation timelines, and resource requirements
- Develop case studies and success stories from completed projects
- Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions are implementable
Knowledge Sharing & Enablement
- Translate technical designs into clear business value narratives (cost savings, new revenue, risk reduction, regulatory/ESG benefits) for senior stakeholders.
- Work closely with engineering, product, delivery, and marketing to feed client insights into roadmaps, accelerators, and reusable assets.
- Stay up to date on Web3, DeFi, ESG, and digital identity trends, and translate them into practical guidance for clients and internal teams.
- Represent the company in webinars, meetups, conferences and customer briefings, showcasing successful architectures and case studies.
- Train sales teams on technical capabilities and competitive positioning
- Create reusable collateral: solution briefs, technical presentations, demo scripts
- Contribute to thought leadership through blogs, webinars, or conference presentations
- Develop and present tailored solutions to address complex client challenges
- Prepare architecture designs to show clear demarcation of THG IP-ownership
- Position existing THG building blocks[product] in discovery/design workshops
- Prepare pre-sales technical designs that converge Hedera DLT with Agentic AI
- Provide technical insights for product development and product enhancement
- Support commercial/contracting negotiations covering the technology aspects
- Minimum 15 years of experience as an engineer, of which 5 as Web3 architect or in a similar role.
- In-depth understanding of EVM and its functionalities.
- Proficiency in C4 methodology, BPM methodologies, and UML.
- Strong knowledge of blockchain security principles and best practices.
- Experience with designing and developing smart contracts, ideally with exposure to DeFi and Identity protocols.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passionate about Web3 technology and its potential to revolutionize industries, with a particular interest in DeFi and Identity solutions.
- Experience with Hedera Hashgraph native services and SDKs.
- Knowledge of Web3 development frameworks and tools (e.g., Truffle, Hardhat, Foundry).
- Understanding of tokenomics and DeFi concepts.
- Experience with enterprise-grade Identity solutions and protocols.
