Position Overview:

As a Harness Partner Enablement Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our partner ecosystem through comprehensive technical training programs. You will be responsible for developing, executing, and continuously improving partner training initiatives to ensure our partners have the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively leverage Harness.io solutions. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, instructional design proficiency, and strong relationship-building skills.

About the role

  1. Program Leadership: Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive partner enablement program focused on technical training for Harness.io solutions.
  2. Training Delivery: Deliver engaging and informative training sessions both virtually and in-person, covering various aspects of Harness.io products, including installation, configuration, best practices, and advanced features.
  3. Subcontractor Enablement: Facilitate the development of subcontractor capabilities within Harness partner organizations to ensure their readiness to deliver on Harness delivery projects. This involves:
    1. Identifying subcontractor training needs and developing tailored training programs to address them.
    2. Providing guidance and support to subcontractors on Harness.io implementation methodologies, best practices, and project delivery frameworks.
    3. Collaborating with project managers and delivery teams to integrate subcontractors seamlessly into project workflows and ensure successful project outcomes.
    4. Monitoring subcontractor performance and providing ongoing support and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
    5. Serving as a liaison between subcontractors and internal stakeholders to address any issues or challenges that may arise during project execution.
    6. Documenting subcontractor capabilities, certifications, and success stories to showcase their value and expertise within the Harness partner ecosystem.
  4. Resource Coordination: Collaborate with internal subject matter experts and external resources to develop and deliver training materials, including presentations, demos, hands-on labs, and documentation.
  5. Progress Reporting: Track and report on partner training progress, including attendance, performance metrics, and feedback, to measure the effectiveness of training initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
  6. Partner Bootcamps: Organize and manage partner bootcamps and workshops to provide intensive, hands-on training experiences for partners to deepen their understanding and proficiency with Harness.io solutions.
  7. Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance partner training programs based on feedback, industry trends, and product updates to ensure relevancy and effectiveness.
  8. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with partner organizations, understanding their unique needs and challenges, and providing tailored training solutions to address them.
  9. Enablement Tools: Leverage a variety of enablement tools and platforms to enhance the delivery and accessibility of training materials, such as learning management systems (LMS), virtual labs, and online communities.

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in technical training, enablement, or education roles, preferably in the software industry.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps concepts, tools, and practices, with specific expertise in continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proficiency in utilizing training delivery platforms and tools, such as web conferencing software (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams), LMS, and virtual lab environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners to achieve shared goals.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
