Infrastructure Engineer IV

HackerOne is a global leader in Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM). The company is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer IV to contribute to building and operating the infrastructure that supports the HackerOne platform. The ideal candidate will have strong domain expertise in cloud infrastructure and reliability, and will be able to design and operate highly available cloud systems. The role is remote and can be done from within ~50 miles of Boston, Austin, or Washington DC.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working with Linux-based systems and cloud infrastructure
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Datadog, Cloudflare, and OpenSearch
• Experience operating and supporting production systems in an on-call environment
• Familiarity with modern DevOps tooling and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI or GitHub Actions)
• Experience delivering projects with dependencies across technical and non-technical teams
• Strong understanding of reliability, observability, and secure infrastructure practices
• Interest in secure-by-default infrastructure design and compliance requirements
• Clear communicator and effective team collaborator
