We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with a "mid-level mindset" and a solid background in AWS, Terraform, and CI/CD. This role is ideal for a high-performing engineer ready to take the next step or a developer with strong infrastructure curiosity looking to pivot. We value conceptual understanding as much as tool knowledge; we want someone who understands the "why" behind DevOps philosophy, not just someone who can copy-paste code.

Requirements:

2+ years of experience.
Hands-on AWS Proficiency: Solid experience with core services including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, and RDS.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proven experience using Terraform to provision and maintain cloud resources (professional or high-level POCs).
CI/CD Logic: Strong understanding of the journey from commit to production using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
Container Fluency: Confident writing Dockerfiles and managing container networking and storage.
Observability Mindset: Ability to distinguish between Metrics, Logs, Traces, and Spans, and the skill to turn noise into actionable signals.
Architectural Knowledge: Ability to discuss the trade-offs between Serverless (Lambda), Containers, and Virtual Machines.
Cloud Cost Management: Ability to monitor spend and suggest optimizations like right-sizing instances or identifying unused resources.
Strong English Communication Skills: Minimum B2 level proficiency for technical discussions and decision-making.
Based in Latin America.

Nice to Have:

Orchestration: Experience with Kubernetes (K8s).
Edge/Security: Experience managing DNS or WAF through CloudFlare.
Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Developer Associate.
Automation: Scripting skills in Python or Bash.
Modern Tooling: Familiarity with AI-assisted coding agents (Cursor, GitHub Copilot) for infrastructure automation.
