Puerto Rico onlySoftware Developer Trainee responsibilities include gathering user requirements, defining system functionality and writing code in various languages, like Java, or .NET programming languages (e.g. C++ or JScript.NET.) Our ideal candidates are familiar with the software development life cycle (SDLC) from preliminary system analysis to tests and deployment.

- Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Write well-designed, testable code.
- Integrate software components into a fully functional software system.
- Document and maintain software functionality.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
- Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback.
- Comply with project plans and industry standards.
- Ensure the software is updated with the latest features.
- Perform the necessary database design work to meet software development requirements.
- Create or review technical design documentation to ensure the accurate development of solutions.
- Develop products, modules, or custom applications according to quality standards.
- Ensure product/project quality through validation of requirements prior to turnover to the customer.
- Perform other tasks related to organization or customer activities, as assigned by Supervisor.

Technical Requirements:
- Knowledge of programming languages, including C#, VB.NET, TSQL and web development
- Appropriate use of technologies and tools available for the company based on product, project, or solution needs.
- Ability to perform detailed data analysis (i.e., determine the structure, content, and quality of the data through examination of source systems and data samples)
- Applied knowledge of object-oriented design principals and implementation.
