As GivePower’s Executive Assistant, you are responsible for supporting the organization’s president to maximize her efficiency and effectiveness. You’ll also support other department heads. Specifically, you’ll work with the human resource team in recruiting purpose-driven, skilled teammates and prepare an excellent onboarding experience for them. You’ll also work closely with the entire leadership team in preparing documentation packages that meet our grant fulfillment requirements. The optimal candidate will have a knack for juggling many projects and can prioritize effectively to ensure urgent matters are readily addressed. You are adept at communicating both verbally and in writing and have a high level of skill in using Excel and PowerPoint. Your proactive organizational skills and attention to detail are greatly valued by others. You’ll work directly with key decision-makers inside and outside of the GivePower team. As a key ambassador for our organization, you’ll develop and share a deep understanding of our work stimulating the passion in others to join us in serving those in need around the world.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating and managing strong relationships with GivePower’s donors
  • Gather documentation and organize grant fulfillment packages in a timely manner
  • Implement a coordinated strategy of tracking our fundraising pipeline
  • Assemble monthly reporting decks with the leadership and creative team
  • Book complex travel and manage expense reporting
  • Prepare and follow up on project execution plans
  • Represent GivePower in a professional, authentic and timely way with all stakeholders
  • Anticipate potential challenges and exercise resourcefulness in recommending resolutions
  • Partner with leadership team members and vendors in creating team events
  • Assist in screening new hire candidates
  • Prepare onboarding plans for all new hires that create amazing experiences for them
  • Complete additional tasks, as needed, that could be personal in nature

Required Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Executive Assistant or similar role
  • Strong skills in Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel; SharePoint, RAMP and Slack a plus
  • Experience in sales, business development or fundraising
  • Strong work ethic with ability to be productive in a remote work environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining focus on key priorities
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse cultural backgrounds
  • Demonstrated command of all social media technology and operation
  • Exceptionally strong and efficient organization skills
  • Quick responsiveness and dedication to forecasting and meeting deadlines
  • Positive attitude with professional, engaging demeanor and mature sense of discretion
Compensation: $70-$75k annually
