The Business Manager is responsible for driving customer development, managing the full sales cycle, and ensuring revenue growth within a designated territory. Requirements
- Conduct Market Opportunity Assessments (MOA) and adapt strategies to local trends.
- Create and execute strategic account plans targeting senior client leadership.
- Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation, negotiation, delivery, and collection.
- Expand account base with a focus on software licenses and M&S services.
- Utilize strategic sales methodologies (e.g., Miller Heiman, Sandler).
- Collaborate with Human Resources to establish and implement sales training programs focused on developing critical competencies in sales, management, and support roles.
- Regularly engage with clients to understand needs and propose tailored solutions.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and long-term relationship building.
- Identify and address client training needs.
- Manage expectations to ensure successful delivery of products and services.
- Track record of cultivating and maintaining VP and C-level relationships.
- Develop and execute territory-specific sales plans to meet quotas.
- Drive year-over-year revenue growth.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting and revenue recognition.
- Manage CRM data, forecasts, and overdue payments.
- Handle region-specific financial considerations (e.g., withholding tax).
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance (contracts, NDAs, etc.).
- Coordinate timely invoicing and payment collection.
- Maintain accurate CRM records.
- Represent GeoSoftware at industry events and trade shows.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to support lead generation and campaigns.
