Funnel Leasing Inc., is hiring a Value Engineer. As a Value Engineer you will help prospects and customers understand the business impact of partnering with Funnel, both the potential value and what current customer data shows. This strategic role sits at the intersection of sales, marketing, product, operations, and data. You will turn customer challenges into quantifiable outcomes, build strong business cases, and guide buyers through the financial “why” behind adopting Funnel’s platform. You are comfortable diving into messy or incomplete data and confident presenting clear insights even when comparisons are not perfect. You are resourceful and creative in building new analyses or reports to uncover meaningful trends and tell a compelling business story. The annual salary range for this role is $110,000 - $130,000.

The Value Engineer's essential roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Sales to participate in discovery, connect customer pain points to measurable business outcomes, and advance active opportunities
  • Build ROI models, business cases, and pricing justification materials that clearly highlight financial impact
  • Turn complex data into simple, compelling presentations for executives and buying committees
  • Support pilots, trials, and POCs by tracking early indicators, surfacing insights, and presenting success stories
  • Analyze customer workflows, staffing models, and cost drivers to quantify potential and realized value
  • Create and maintain templates, calculators, and value frameworks for consistent use across the GTM team
  • Present findings, recommendations, and business cases in a clear and confident way to customer teams
  • Lead the preparation of QBRs, including talk tracks, slides, roles, and the presentation
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing to refine value messaging and market positioning
  • Work with Product + Data teams to ensure data accuracy, measurement methodologies, and value rationale
  • Assist with RFP responses related to value, ROI, and financial justification
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Travel: <10%

Education, Work Experience, and Certifications

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel + SQL
  • Experience with Looker or other data visualization tools
  • Experience wth Python is preferred
  • Strong communicator who can present clearly to executive stakeholders
  • Skilled storyteller who can turn data into persuasive narratives
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working across GTM, product, and operational functions
  • Background in consulting, business analyst, data analyst, or marketing analyst fields (SaaS experience preferred)
