We're looking for a Retail Project Manager - EU who will lead a team of external consultants and contractors, managing multiple projects in the Central & Eastern European area. The ideal candidate will have experience in Retail and Construction, be able to travel, and have excellent leadership and communication skills.

Requirements

  • Excellent English language skills
  • A Qualification in Project/Construction Management, and 5+ years of experience in Retail Project/Construction Management or suitable vocational experience.
  • Holding or actively working towards, Chartered membership of a construction related professional body or other professional accreditation e.g APM / PMI.
  • Knowledge and understanding of EU country specific permitting, procedures and construction delivery methodology within all regions.
  • Experience of all construction stages of the design process from conception through to delivery.
  • Detailed experience of Retail Construction coupled with good understanding of Building Regulations and Compliance.
  • Thorough knowledge of architectural drawings and specifications for construction document production.
  • High level of financial appraisal skill.
  • Knowledge of shop-fit standards, details, and construction.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and trouble shoot during a project.
  • Strong leadership skills with a can-do attitude and excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to build, mentor and develop a high performing external teams.
  • Must be able to work well under tight deadlines and able to reprioritise efficiently.
  • Self-starter able to work under own initiative.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Critical eye for detail.
  • Ability to travel globally when required.
  • Great interpersonal skills.
