About the Role:
As People Manager for our Clinical Team, you will lead and mentor a team of clinicians and RNs to ensure high-quality clinical care, monitor performance, and maintain regulatory compliance. This role requires balancing clinical expertise with strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to achieve organizational goals and elevate team morale.
What You'll Do:
- Serve as primary escalation point for clinician and RN team issues; provide performance feedback and implement corrective actions as needed
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, clinical practice quality and safety standards, and regulatory guidelines
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing development of clinical staff
- Support career development and retention through regular 1:1 check-ins and personalized coaching
- Manage PTO and clinician scheduling in collaboration with the Clinical Operations team
- Develop and update policies related to clinical team personnel
What You'll Bring:
- 5+ years of people management experience in healthcare, ideally in the telehealth space
- Experience as a practicing clinician (MD, DO, NP, PA, CNM). This position does not entail providing clinical care, so no active licenses required
- Deep understanding of clinical practices and relevant healthcare regulations
- Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated commitment to providing affirming, culturally competent care to LGBTQIA+ communities
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency with MS Office/Google Suite applications
- Bachelor's degree required
Salary: $75,000 annually
