OpenLoop is looking for a full time Telemedicine Registered Nurse (RN) to join our teamremotely.In this role, you will be responsible for providing patient education and clinical support, ensuring optimal health outcomes, and working closely with RN Team Leads and RN Manager for patient success.

About the Position

This is an incredible opportunity to support RN operations in a fast-paced, innovative company that puts the patient at the center of everything we do. This role is for a clinical care professional who delivers nursing care using telemedicine modalities and provides support to the RN team.

Registered nurses are members of an interdisciplinary care team working as staff clinicians with OpenLoop. You'll be at the forefront of healthcare delivery, providing vital support to patients over the phone. Your role will involve assessing patient needs, offering medical advice, coordinating care plans, ensuring optimal health outcomes, and providing an outstanding patient experience.

In addition to providing direct patient care, this role will provide administrative and operational support for the RN Team in close partnership with the RN Manager. TheRN Team Leadwill be a resource for complex patient needs,assist with quality assurance, reporting and analytics, support training, and participate in other projects to ensure continuous improvement of RN Team operations.

Responsibilities

  • Receive inbound calls, make outbound calls, and complete scheduled RN visits to assist patients with clinical questions or concerns.

  • Provide medication administration support, recommendations for managing side effects, and care plan support.

  • Conduct outbound calls to communicate patient lab results.

  • Engage with patients in a courteous and empathetic manner, demonstrating sensitivity to their healthcare needs and concerns.

  • Complete detailed documentation of patient care interactions in the ticketing system and electronic medical record.

  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, clinical leaders and other team members to follow up on any issues or discrepancies identified during care interactions.

  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling patient information.

  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to stay updated on OpenLoop Health process, healthcare regulations, and best practices.

  • Meet productivity targets and quality standards established by the organization.

  • Serve as a peer-to-peer resource, preceptor, and subject matter expert for the RN Team.

  • Complete additional project work as assigned to support continuous improvement of team operations and patient experience.

  • Other duties as assigned


Requirements

  • Must have Active and Unencumbered compact licensure with the eligibility to obtain 50 state licensure. At minimum, RN must have an active compact license. This license MUST be reflected on a current CV or provided upon application to be considered.

  • Must live in the state in which the Compact was granted to be considered

  • Associate degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N) preferred.

  • At least 5+ years of clinical experience in settings such as telemedicine, acute care, or primary care.

  • Demonstrated ability to provide patient-centered care through strong communication, empathy, and effective patient education.

  • Commitment to patient safety and quality.

  • Above average proficiency in using technology, telecommunication technology, and electronic health record (EHR) systems. Strong preference for experience with Google Suite and Slack.

  • Excellent skills in troubleshooting technical concerns and guiding others on use of technology.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, environment.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, high volume environment.

  • Full-time scheduled role, requiring availability to work extended hours including certain weekends and holidays.

  • Timely and professional.

  • Telemedicine or virtual care experience a plus
