AHOY is seeking a Senior iOS (Swift) Engineer to lead the development of high-performance mobile applications. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Swift to create intuitive and dynamic user interfaces while ensuring robust backend integration. This position involves collaborating closely with design and product teams to enhance user experiences and deliver high-quality features.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain complex iOS applications using Swift.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement app features.
  • Optimize application performance and ensure smooth operation on all iOS devices.
  • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
  • Stay updated on the latest iOS development trends and best practices.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in iOS development, with a strong focus on Swift.
  • Proficient in using Xcode and familiar with other iOS development tools.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party libraries.
  • Strong understanding of the iOS app lifecycle and design patterns.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues.
  • Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Experience with Apple’s App Store submission process and guidelines is a plus.
