About the Role

We are looking for a talented Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will focus on building and maintaining the backend components of our logistics platform. You will be responsible for designing robust APIs, ensuring efficient data processing, and collaborating with front-end developers to create seamless user experiences. You will play a key part in enhancing our platform's functionality and performance through strong engineering practices and innovative thinking.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Develop RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend modules to support operational workflows.
• Integrate with external systems, HR systems, rostering platforms, and telematics sources.
• Implement data transformation, validation rules, and complex business logic.
• Ensure security through proper authentication, authorization, and data protection standards.
• Optimize service performance and efficiency for high-volume operational data.
• Collaborate with Client Data Engineer and internal Frontend Developer to ensure seamless end-to-end functionality.
• Maintain version control, documentation, and adherence to coding standards.
• Participate in sprint planning, estimations, and technical discussions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience with modern backend frameworks (e.g., .NET Core, Node.js, Java, or similar).
• Experience developing secure, scalable REST APIs.
• Familiarity with integration patterns, message queues, and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Practical knowledge of authentication protocols (OAuth2, JWT).
• Strong debugging, optimization, and problem-solving skills.
