About Eurofins
We were founded in 1987 in Nantes, France, with a mission to market the SNIF-NMR® technology, a patented method for analyzing the origin and purity of wine to combat fraud. This innovative technology was developed by the parents of our founder, Gilles Martin, at the University of Nantes. From our humble beginnings as a small laboratory with just four employees, we have grown into a global leader in the bio-analytical testing industry. Our journey has been one of rapid expansion and strategic acquisition, allowing us to build a vast network of laboratories and expertise across the globe. In 1997, we took a significant step forward with our Initial Public Offering (IPO) on the Paris Stock Exchange, which fueled our international growth and enabled us to acquire state-of-the-art laboratories with unique technologies and scientific talent.
Today, we are a team of approximately 63,000 dedicated professionals working across a network of over 950 laboratories in more than 60 countries. Our portfolio boasts over 200,000 validated analytical methods, allowing us to provide comprehensive testing and support services to a wide range of industries, including pharmaceutical, food, environmental, agriscience, and consumer products. We are passionate about contributing to global health and safety by delivering high-quality laboratory and advisory services to our clients. Our core values of customer focus, quality, competence, team spirit, and integrity guide everything we do. We are constantly innovating and expanding our capabilities, particularly in exciting fields like genomic testing and environmental analysis, to meet the evolving needs of our customers and make a positive impact on the world. We are not just a data supplier; we strive to be a knowledge partner, ensuring the quality and safety of products and contributing to a healthier and safer world for everyone.
