The ACA Solution Engineer is the primary technical/solution resource for the sales teams focused on selling the Equifax Workforce Solutions ACA Platforms. Solution Engineers are responsible for assisting and supporting the sales reps as the key technical and solution advisor for specific and identified client engagements for this product. S/he will be involved in the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, developing contractual statements of work and client business requirements as needed. The ACA Solution Engineer must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. S/he must be able to identify all technical issues that will assure complete customer satisfaction throughout all stages of the sales and implementation process. Must be able to establish and maintain strong client relationships throughout the sales and implementation cycles. The successful ACA Solution Engineer can make engineering jargon like program specs and technical requirements easily understood, explain how the Equifax ACA Platforms and configurations work, and demonstrate how Workforce Solutions can meet the prospect's / customer's needs & requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Educate the identified Direct and Indirect prospects on ACA solution capabilities using sales presentation materials and personalized product demonstrations.

  • Assess identified client needs and recommend potential application of ACA products, service configuration settings, workflow process, deployment methodology, and data import/ export processes to deliver product solutions that meet customer needs.

  • Educate the identified prospect on industry norms and best practices.

  • Able to assist on responses to RFIs / RFPs / Security Questionnaires.

  • Research and present data showing potential customers the cost benefit of purchasing ACA platforms and/or services.

  • Develop client-customized Statements of Work (SOW) for inclusion with client agreements.

  • Help develop detailed business requirements for customized features/functionality/integration​ requiring IT resources to be used in estimation and fulfillment.

  • Assist with product training for new Managed Account Leaders, Regional Managers, Account Managers, and Business Development Representatives.

  • Facilitate knowledge transfer of client’s expectations, needs, and application requirements to Product Implementation, Product Management & Product Development teams.

  • Provide assistance in voice of client and product driven initiatives.

  • Facilitate changes to contract schedules needed for product/service enhancements or additional services.

  • Attend industry conferences as a Subject Matter Expert and to gain industry best practices.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years in B2B sales

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience as a Solution Consultant and/or Sales Engineer

  • Experience and familiarity with project management products and PMI, PPM, PMO industry

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

  • Experience in business problem resolution environment

  • Experience in collaborative problem solving within a large organization

  • Familiar with development and integration technologies leveraged within and ACA Product Suite

  • Ability to travel throughout sales territory; approximately 25-30% travel.

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

  • Ability to interact and effectively communicate with both technical and business client staff.

  • Self-motivated with a proven track record in driving or assisting software sales and knowledge of SaaS and Project Management technology.

  • Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base.

  • Ability to refine and personalize the Workforce Solutions marketing/sales message to provide prospect with the best ACA solution based on prospect’s needs.

  • Ability to quickly learn and develop a deep understanding of the complex ACA services and technical capabilities.

  • Organized and analytical with ability to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.

  • Ability to travel as necessary.
