About the Position
We are seeking an Associate Solutions Analyst to join our team! The ideal candidate should be passionate about uncovering customer needs, building compelling data stories, and helping shape scalable, cloud-based solutions. This role sits at the intersection of pre-sales discovery, business analysis, and solution implementation, supporting customers as they explore and adopt our energy forecasting and reporting tools.
As a key member of the customer-facing team, you’ll work closely with senior analysts, product teams, and sales to configure playbook scenarios, build intuitive dashboards, and translate complex business needs into actionable solutions. This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their career with strong communication, analytical, and technical skills who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Partner with sales and senior analysts in pre-sales conversations to gather business requirements and reporting needs.
- Conduct competitor research and identify features to enhance solution playbooks.
- Assist in configuring solution templates, use cases, and cloud-deployed dashboards for external clients.
- Create and maintain user guides, training materials, and solution briefs for internal and external audiences.
- Support real-time customer discovery during meetings, identifying issues and escalating as needed.
- Track account performance and identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities based on insights from data.
- Maintain a high-level view across multiple accounts to help identify trends, issues, and opportunities for optimization.
Candidate Requirements & Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in business analysis, pre-sales, or customer-facing roles (i.e. technical solutions).
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for business audiences.
- Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, or Excel.
- Hands-on knowledge of SQL and a basic understanding of API integrations (e.g., Python, R).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail, especially in problem-solving and solution design.
- Interest in the energy industry or cloud-based software solutions is a plus.
The pay range for this position is up to $125,000 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
