Senior Go developer

EMCD is a global technology leader in the crypto industry, best known as the #1 mining pool in Eastern Europe and a Top-10 mining pool worldwide. We are expanding globally and building a comprehensive ecosystem of crypto services, including payment infrastructure, custody, mining solutions and enterprise-grade tools for businesses and institutions.

As we continue to scale, we are looking for a Senior Go Developer to design, build, and evolve high-load backend services that power our platform. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys solving complex architectural challenges, takes ownership of technical decisions, and wants to directly impact the reliability and performance of mission-critical systems.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in designing technical solutions and service architecture.
• Develop backend services using Go (Golang).
• Write unit tests and maintain high code quality standards.
• Deploy services to production and support them throughout their lifecycle.
• Contribute to code reviews and architectural discussions.
• Collaborate closely with DevOps and cross-functional engineering teams.
• Analyse system performance and implement optimisations.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of commercial experience in backend development
• Strong proficiency in Go (Golang) with proven production experience.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka (producers/consumers, partitioning, consumer groups).
• Experience building and maintaining gRPC services.
• Solid background in microservices architecture.
• Strong knowledge of design patterns and clean code principles.
• Experience with Prometheus for metrics collection and analysis
• Experience building monitoring dashboards (Grafana or similar tools).
• Clear understanding of observability principles: metrics, logging, and alerting
