THE OPPORTUNITY:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a highly skilled and integrated team comprising sales, marketing, access, corporate affairs and medical professionals. Your wealth of experience will play a pivotal role in shaping our strategy at both local and national levels. You will be responsible for truly understanding the ecosystem, patient flow and key decision makers as you effectively launch and manage the business for Lilly’s Neuroscience Team focusing on approved assets within Alzheimer’s disease.

You will lead on local account planning across priority hospital accounts and the overarching Integrated Care System (ICS) structure. You will compliantly use ICS, account, and customer insight to develop and execute a local account strategy which maximises business potential from launch using a range of engagement channels, aligned with overall brand strategy.

At marketing authorisation and once all necessary training and compliance considerations have been met, you will identify key Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) in target accounts - gain access and endorsement and promote the Lilly’s Neuroscience offering across the territory. It will be essential for you to work closely with the Alzheimer’s Ecosystem Manager (AEM) to map account readiness and determine localised action plans to maximise those accounts that are ready or develop plans for those accounts that require further readiness.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Define, prepare, and implement a territory business plan from launch, based on a clear understanding of local NHS and customer priorities. You will lead the development of a cross-functional and focussed business plan, working with the Regional Business Manager, AEM and MSL colleagues.
  • Support diagnostics and treatment ecosystem mapping and actively shape Dx & Tx pathway in partnership with your cross functional colleagues.
  • Compliantly achieve/Exceed sales & new patient start targets through a mixture of focused customer interactions – including face to face calls, meetings & digital tactics.
  • Develop and maintain deep expertise and product knowledge of own therapeutic area & appropriate competitor products.
  • Develop a deep understanding of brand HCP value propositions and the “toolkit” of Lilly resources and be able to confidently position with key customers, tailor the value proposition to HCP needs.
  • Use business information to identify variance in local account performance and collaborate on tactical plans to maximise performance.
  • Identify relevant opportunities to mobilise other functions into the account to drive further value (medical, health outcomes, partnership projects etc)
  • Support HCPs by continuing to develop / grow their key capabilities in line with Lilly strategy for building lasting customer relationships.
  • Connect and build relationships with key thought leaders and advocates within your local territories.
  • Demonstration of high integrity & compliance at all times.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • Proven track record in Pharmaceutical Sales.
  • ABPI Qualification.
  • Winning Mindset. Desire to be the best in a highly challenging environment.
  • Proven track record in identifying and converting business opportunities into growth.
  • Excellent communication skills, presentation skills and stakeholder management skills.
  • Business Acumen developed through strong analytical and business planning skills.
  • Have a solid understanding on NHS funding and budget structure.
  • Confident with the use of alternative appropriate channels of communication and the use of virtual customer communication to improve customer experience.
  • Ability to build strong internal/external relationships and manage a range of local stakeholders.
  • Experienced in developing regional and national thought leaders.
  • Excellent demonstration of key capabilities such as in call selling skills using VBS, key account management and business planning.
  • Proven ability to execute P2P/eP2P meeting programs.
  • Flexible and fluid - comfortable working with ambiguity and adapt to changing strategic priorities.
  • Strong evidence of personal accountability, flexibility, and winning mindset.
  • Ability to sell a broad portfolio of products across a variety of disease indications.
  • Full UK Driving license.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS/PREFERENCES:

  • Neuroscience Experience: Neurodegenerative diseases, Alzheimer’s disease
