Data Reporting and Analytics Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Reporting and Analytics Specialist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transforming transportation invoice data into actionable insights, facilitating informed decision-making, and driving cost-saving initiatives for our client.

Core Competencies:

Analysis:

• Ability to interpret transportation invoice data and generate comprehensive reports highlighting strengths and weaknesses.

Technical Proficiency:

• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including experience with macros, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and indexing.
• Proficiency in SQL and database management.
• Experience with Zoho Analytics, including reporting/dashboard creation and integration between database and reporting systems.

Primary Functions:

Carrier Pricing:

• Build and maintain pricing data for all carriers.
• Identify errors or inconsistencies in pricing proposals.
• Develop reports for analysis and pricing comparisons.

Potential Savings Analysis:

• Analyze invoice data across multiple modes of transportation to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
• Generate reports to illustrate potential savings and recommend optimization strategies.

Reporting:

• Update and maintain transportation data databases.
• Develop reporting dashboards and ad hoc reports as requested.
• Establish data connections between existing reporting systems for seamless integration.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing or distribution industry.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and database management.
• Experience with Zoho Analytics or similar reporting tools is highly desirable.
• Great communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

• Payment: All payments for your services will be handled directly by the client. Elevate and Delegate is not involved in processing your payroll. Your salary will directly go to you.
• Vacation Leaves and Holidays: While we may have recommendations or guidelines regarding vacation leaves and holidays, the decision is entirely at the discretion of the client. You are expected to align your schedule with the client's business needs and any specific policies or preferences they may have in this regard.

Salary: $900 - $1100 USD/month

Schedule: CST
