EDUCAUSE

EDUCAUSE is a nonprofit association whose mission is to lead the way, advancing the strategic use of technology and data to further the promise of higher education. As the largest community of technology, academic, industry, and campus leaders in higher education, EDUCAUSE connects and empowers its members through insights, advocacy, resources, and learning opportunities to anticipate trends and strengthen professional practice. The organization serves more than 2,100 member organizations and over 115,000 individual professionals worldwide, including chief information officers, IT managers and directors, academic deans, university librarians, teaching and learning professionals, and faculty members.

Founded in 1998 through the merger of CAUSE and Educom, EDUCAUSE has been advancing higher education through information technology for over 25 years. The organization tackles a broad spectrum of challenges related to the adoption and application of technology in higher education, from enterprise systems to strategic leadership, pedagogical innovation to cybersecurity and risk management. EDUCAUSE publishes research, provides professional development, hosts the annual EDUCAUSE conference, and advocates for policies that support higher education technology initiatives.
